The President highlights the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Türkiye

On December 5, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received delegation of the Republic of Türkiye headed by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of leading Turkish companies AKSA Cemil Kazancı and Cengiz Energy Ahmet Cengiz.
In the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest passed to the Head of our state sincere greetings and warm wishes of the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Issues of further developing Uzbek-Turkish relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation were discussed.
The current highest level of bilateral cooperation was noted with deep satisfaction. The indicators of the mutual trade and investments are growing, the number of joint enterprises and flight frequency are increasing.
The fruitful activities of the Turkish companies in our country was especially noted, jointly with them projects for the construction of modern power plants with the total capacity of 1,8 gigawatt worth $1 billion were successfully implemented.
Separate attention was paid to the promotion of new cooperation projects in energy and geology, including localization of modern technologies, production of energy equipment, improvement of distribution grids management, joint development of prospective mines and preparation of specialists.
