On April 3–4, 2026, the General Assembly of the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF) was held in Muscat, Oman, where key issues of the sport’s development and qualification criteria for world championships were discussed.
The Uzbek delegation was led by Bakhromjon Gaziyev, President of the Federation of Tent Pegging, Horseback Archery, and Djigitovka. His participation highlighted Uzbekistan’s commitment to deeper integration into the global sports community.
A key outcome for Uzbekistan was Gaziyev’s election to the ITPF Executive Committee, receiving nearly 27% of the votes and securing a position in the federation’s leadership.
