The President inspected the musical fountain project in New Tashkent
Uzbekistan
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the project for a fountain complex to be built in New Tashkent.
Our country places particular emphasis on creating modern public spaces, entertainment venues, and cultural leisure areas for the population. Such projects enhance the appearance of cities, create a comfortable recreational environment, and increase the flow of local and foreign visitors.
A musical fountain complex is planned for construction in New Tashkent on an area of approximately 8 hectares.
According to the project, a fountain will be built in a pool with a total water surface area of 6.3 hectares, allowing for water, music, and light shows to be performed over an area of 1.5 hectares. The complex will include a superfountain capable of projecting water up to 232 meters high, as well as a floating platform with a diameter of 100 meters.
The fountain will be able to create a circular water screen with a radius of 185 meters and project various images onto it in 360 degrees.
Powerful laser beams, dynamic water features, and various visual effects are also planned. Pumping systems, electrical equipment, laser projectors, and other technical devices will be housed in an underground two-story structure.
Green areas and service facilities are planned around the reservoir. This complex is expected to become one of the most notable landmarks of New Tashkent, enriching the city's architectural appearance and serving as another modern venue for cultural events, celebrations, and festivals.
The head of state paid special attention to the project's content, its technical solutions, and the comprehensive improvement of the territory. He emphasized the importance of high-quality organization of modern retail, dining, and service facilities for visitors. He also noted the need to host spectacular events dedicated to Independence Day at this site this year.
