The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan visited a major carpet enterprise in Khiva

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the "Khiva Gilamlari" carpet combine. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbekistan President.
Established in 2020, the enterprise worth 24 million dollars annually produces 4.2 million square meters of carpets and carpet products, which are exported to the USA, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, and other CIS countries.
The combine is equipped with modern machinery from Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Türkiye. 750 jobs are provided.
The Presidents familiarized themselves with the production process and showroom, as well as an exhibition of Uzbek products under the brand Made in Uzbekistan organized on the combine's premises.
The relevant ministries and agencies have been tasked with exchanging experiences and developing cooperation and trade.
