The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation and key regional initiatives.
The leaders exchanged congratulations on the upcoming Navruz holiday and wished the peoples of both countries peace and prosperity. The President of Uzbekistan also congratulated his Tajik counterpart on the signing of the agreement on the delimitation of the border with Kyrgyzstan.
The focus of the conversation was on the implementation of joint economic projects, the development of industrial cooperation, and the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties.
