Negotiations were held between the Ministry of Mining and Metallurgy and Geology and Peter Margetts, the British advisor to the governor of Kashkadarya region.

During the discussions, Peter Margetts stated that companies in the UK are interested in establishing connections with existing and prospective mines in Uzbekistan and are eager to invest in the country's underground resources.

The British advisor expressed his readiness to collaborate on the development of a new mine in Kashkadarya and to provide practical assistance in attracting British investors.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to implement promising projects involving British companies in this sector.
