Officials of the countries are holding consultations on the implementation of a major infrastructure project, which includes the development of the railway network and ports.
Officials from the United States, India, Saudi Arabia and several other countries are consulting on a major infrastructure project involving the development of a rail network and ports. This was reported by Reuters.
According to him, the possibilities of building railways between the countries of the Middle East are being discussed, as well as the development of port infrastructure intended for the transportation of goods between these countries and India. Most likely, the relevant agreements will be announced at the G20 summit in New Delhi.
Sources say the consultations hope to boost trade between the Gulf and South Asian countries, reduce transport costs, and speed up trade. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and European countries may also join the negotiations.
