"Through the Ages: The Legacy of Khudoybergan Devonov"

An exhibition dedicated to Khudoybergan Devonov, the first professional photographer and cinematographer of Central Asia, is being held at UNESCO's headquarters in Paris until April 4. The exhibition aims to showcase Devonov's work to a wide audience and appreciate his unparalleled contribution to the world of art.

"Through the Ages: The Legacy of Khudoybergan Devonov"
Khudoybergan Devonov is one of the brightest figures in the history of Uzbekistan, and through his works, he has brought the pages of history to our time. His photographs not only capture the daily lives of people but also reflect the social and cultural landscape of his era. 
In her speech, Saida Mirziyoyeva commented on Devonov's work, saying:

"Devonov, who possessed remarkable brilliance and a refined artistic taste, not only captured people and events but also immortalized the spirit of the times, becoming the true chronicler of his era. Thanks to his sensitive eye and deep passion for his craft, today we can feel connected to living history."

This exhibition is a significant opportunity to further promote the legacy of Khudoybergan Devonov and highlight his place in the cultural history of both Uzbekistan and the world. Organized by UNESCO, this event is an important step toward preserving historical photographs and passing them on to future generations.
