7,502 Uzbek citizens traveled to Turkey to visit relatives

According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-February 2025, a total of 33,000 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan traveled to Turkey for tourism purposes. This represents an increase of 9,500 people or 40.6% compared to the same period last year.
While the majority of Uzbek travelers visit Turkey for tourism, the number of trips for other purposes is also growing. According to official data, in the first two months of this year, Uzbek citizens' trips were distributed as follows:
For tourism – 24,366 people;
To visit relatives – 7,502 people;
For medical treatment – 507 people;
For education – 431 people;
For business purposes – 233 people.
Experts predict that the number of Uzbek citizens traveling to Turkey will continue to increase in the coming years.
