Dear athletes, dear coaches!

As you know, our country recently adopted a separate resolution aimed at further developing the Paralympic movement.

I am confident that this decision will create additional conditions and new opportunities for your future activities and will further enhance your athletic achievements.

It is important to note that in recent years, we have created the National Agency for Social Protection and established a separate Association of Adaptive Sports.

Furthermore, within this system, we have established a School of Courage and a specialized institute for training professionals in this field.

As a result, the number of adaptive sports activities has increased to 89, and the number of people regularly participating in these sports in the mahallas of our country has exceeded 45,000.

Reforms aimed at creating an inclusive society and ensuring the social adaptation of persons with disabilities will continue to be consistently pursued.

Once again, I sincerely congratulate you, my dear young men and women, who exemplify love and devotion to the Motherland, strong will, and perseverance for millions of our compatriots, on your historic victory at the Youth Para-Asian Games. I wish you all good health, and further great successes and victories in your future endeavors.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev,
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
