At the World Boxing Championship in England, the Uzbekistan national team showed impressive results - out of eight boxers who entered the ring, seven won.

In the quarterfinals, Sabina Boboqulova (-48 kg) and Akmaljon Isroilov (-85 kg) confidently won their matches, while Shodiyorjon Melikuziev (-50 kg) lost to a Japanese fighter. In the semi-finals, Navbahor Hamidova (-65 kg), Abdumalik Khalokov (-60 kg), Fazliddin Erkinboev (-75 kg), Turabek Khabibullaev (-90 kg), and Jahongir Zokirov (+90 kg) scored and each secured a resounding victory.

Today, the focus will be on the final bout: Fazliddin Erkinboev will fight for the world championship title in the -75 kg category against Bulgarian Kiwan Rami. Another six representatives of Uzbekistan will play their semi-final matches - among them:
-48 kg: Sabina Boboqulova - Nazim Kizaibay (Kazakhstan)
-65 kg: Asadhuja Muydinhujaev - Lasha Guruli (Georgia)
-80 kg: Javokhir Ummataliev - Gabriel Veocic (Croatia)
-51 kg: Feruza Kazakova - Buse Naz Çakıroglu (Turkey)
-70 kg: Aziza Zokirova - Lekeisha Pergoliti (Australia)
-85 kg: Akmaljon Isroilov - Mikhail Fares (Austria)

The Uzbek team confidently continues its fight for medals and has every chance to enter the ranks of the tournament's main triumphers.
