A court in New York has found former US President Donald Trump guilty of fraud and ordered him to pay a fine of $355 million.
According to CNN, Trump is also banned from holding senior positions in New York state companies for three years and is barred from receiving loans from financial institutions in the state.
The court found that Trump falsified financial statements to get loans and insurance at more favourable terms. His sons, Donald and Eric, were also found guilty and ordered to pay $4 million each.
Trump's representatives plan to appeal the court's decision.
