According to the prosecutor’s office, the list includes Israel’s Minister of Defense, Minister of National Security, Chief of General Staff, and Navy Commander.

The decision follows an investigation into what Turkish authorities describe as “systematic attacks” on Gaza’s civilian population since October 2023. The probe cites strikes on hospitals, humanitarian convoys, and residential areas that resulted in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians, including women and children.

Investigators claim that expert analyses and witness testimonies provide evidence of the personal criminal responsibility of Israeli leaders. As the accused individuals are outside Turkey’s jurisdiction, the Istanbul Criminal Court has ordered their arrest in absentia.
