Turkish investors will build a solar power plant in Fergana region

According to the press service of the Fergana regional government, Turkish investors are planning to build a photoelectric plant in the Fergana region.
Governor of the region Khairullo Bozorov held talks with Ibrahim Ozer, a member of the Tourism Committee under the President of Turkey.
The parties discussed the implementation of projects in energy, social and medical fields with the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries.
It is planned to build a photoelectric plant with a capacity of 80 MW in the "New Uzbekistan" massif in the city of Fergana. The station produces 150 million kWh of electricity, there is a possibility to install energy storage systems. The cost of the project is 57 million euros.
Preparations for the "Green" project will be completed by the end of November, and implementation is planned for the third quarter of 2025.
