Despite significant investments, the digitalization of healthcare in Uzbekistan is lagging behind. During the selector meeting, the President specifically noted the ineffectiveness of implementing the "Electronic Polyclinic" and "Electronic Hospital" systems.

"If the elementary electronic prescription still doesn't work, what kind of digital medicine can we talk about?" the President noted.

Due to gross shortcomings, Deputy Health Ministers Davron Sultanov and Farrukh Sharipov were dismissed from their positions. Deputy Minister Olim Omonov received a warning: if there are no results on digitalization within six months, he will also be dismissed.
