UN: fuel supply set to run out in three days

Gaza will run out of fuel within three days, severely affecting UNRWA's humanitarian work in the Gaza Strip.
The United Nations (UN) reported that the Gaza Strip has three days of fuel left. Hospitals, bakeries and social services will not be able to function without fuel.
A statement from the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) emphasised the urgent need for fuel supplies in the Gaza Strip.
"UNRWA will run out of fuel in three days, putting humanitarian response in Gaza at risk. Without fuel, there will be no water, no functioning hospitals and bakeries. Without fuel, aid will not reach those in desperate need. Without fuel, there will be no humanitarian assistance," the statement reads.
Note that UNRWA is the largest humanitarian organisation in the Gaza Strip.
"No fuel will further strangle the children, women and people of Gaza. Without fuel, we will fail the people of Gaza whose needs are growing by the hour, under our watch. This cannot and should not happen" UNRWA said in a statement.
