While beach athletics competitions are traditionally known for their unique atmosphere, the tension in the high jump sector was profoundly serious. Representing the national team of Uzbekistan, Barnokhon Sayfullayeva showcased not only superb physical form but also remarkable mental fortitude. Amidst fierce competition from the continent's elite athletes, Barnokhon cleared the 1.85-meter mark, setting the best result of the tournament.

The main challengers for our jumper were the host nation’s athletes from China. Buoyed by the local crowd, the Chinese competitors fought for the lead until the very end; however, the bar at 1.83 meters proved to be their limit on this day. Taking second and third places, the Chinese representatives had to acknowledge the superiority of the Uzbek athletics school on the sands of Sanya.

According to the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), this achievement is the result of systematic preparation and the high professionalism of the coaching staff. Sayfullayeva's victory not only added a gold medal to the delegation's haul but also served as a powerful inspiration for the rest of the Uzbek team. As the Asian Beach Games continue, Barnokhon’s triumphant performance sets a high bar for the fans who are eagerly anticipating more sporting achievements from their compatriots in China.
