Uzbekistan and Belarus sign a number of agreements

Following the talks held on 8 February, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko have adopted a joint statement. This was reported by the press service of the President.
It is noted that a number of important bilateral documents and agreements were signed in the presence of the heads of state.
These include:
Plan of measures to develop co-operation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus for 2024-2025;
Agreement on the application of electronic systems of goods certification;
Agreement in the sphere of competition development, consumer protection and advertising market regulation;
Agreement on scientific and industrial co-operation;
Agreement on the establishment of twinning relations and development of multifaceted co-operation between the cities of Tashkent and Minsk;
Protocol on co-operation in the field of energy;
Protocol on Cooperation in the Field of Intellectual Property;
Programme of Cooperation in the Field of Sports for 2024-2025;
Programme of Cooperation in the Field of Culture and Art for 2024-2025;
Programme of Cooperation in the field of training, retraining and professional development of teaching staff of pre-school education institutions for 2024-2025;
Roadmap in the field of education for 2024-2025;
Roadmap in the field of agro-industrial complex for 2024-2026;
Plan of joint measures to develop co-operation in the field of plant quarantine;
Plan of activities in the field of tourism for 2024-2025.
In addition, the schedule of mutual visits of delegations of the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus in 2024 was signed during the visit.
These include:
