Uzbekistan and China are increasing the number of flights
Uzbekistan
Air traffic between Uzbekistan and China will be expanded - the parties agreed to increase the number of flights and consider new destinations. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports following negotiations with China Southern Airlines, China's largest air carrier.
Today, the airline already operates 4 flights a week from Tashkent to Beijing and 5 flights to Urumqi, but now the possibility of daily flights on both routes is being considered.
Uzbekistan Airports also proposed opening new flights from Fergana, Namangan, and Andijan to Chinese cities, which will be an important step for transport accessibility in the regions.
In addition, on April 2, SF Airlines began cargo flights between Tashkent and Lanzhou with a frequency of twice a week and plans to expand.
Uzbekistan is also expanding horizons in other areas. Oman Air received permission for regular flights between Muscat and Tashkent on Boeing-737 aircraft.
All this testifies to the growing interest in Uzbekistan as the air hub of the region and the strengthening of international cooperation.
