Uzbekistan and Indonesia continue to strengthen bilateral relations as the two countries have signed an agreement on a visa-free regime for diplomatic passport holders. This step will open new opportunities for cooperation in political, economic, and cultural spheres.

The document was signed during a meeting between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and his Indonesian counterpart, Sugiono. Saidov noted that the negotiations covered a wide range of cooperation issues and outlined new prospects for bilateral relations.

"Our countries share a strong foundation, and we have even greater potential. Economic diplomacy remains one of our top priorities," said the Uzbek Foreign Minister.

The signed agreement will serve as an important tool for enhancing contacts between the two nations, paving the way for a new level of cooperation.
