The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev concluded his state visit to Mongolia. This visit became the first in the history of bilateral relations and opened a new page in the development of Uzbek-Mongolian cooperation.
Within the framework of the visit, on June 24, the leader of Uzbekistan held talks with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh in a narrow and expanded formats in Ulaanbaatar. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, including in the trade, economic, and industrial spheres. Following the meeting, a Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Comprehensive Partnership Relations was signed.
The Presidents, together with their spouses, attended a concert of masters of art of the two countries. On June 25, the heads of state and First Ladies took part in a tree-planting ceremony at the "Ikh Tenger" State Complex, symbolizing the strengthening of friendship between peoples.
The program of the visit concluded with a joint viewing of the traditional Mongolian games "Naadam." After the events, the President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent. At the airport, the head of state was seen off by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Batmunh Battsetseg, and other officials.
