Uzbekistan and Jordan agree visa-free regime for diplomats

The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs paid an official visit to Jordan. During the official visit to Jordan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and his Jordanian colleague Aiman Safadi signed an agreement on the visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports. This step is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and developing partnership between the countries.
In addition, the parties approved a program of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Jordan for 2025-2027, which provides for the expansion of political dialogue and coordination of international initiatives.
During the visit, Saidov also held meetings with the Minister of Higher Education of Jordan Azmi Mahafaza, Minister of Investments Hairy Amr and Minister for Waqf Affairs, Islamic Affairs and Shrines Mohammad Ahmad Msallam Al-Halail. Among the topics discussed are joint educational programs, student exchanges, development of investment cooperation and expansion of economic ties.
The signing of the visa-free regime agreement was an important step in strengthening diplomatic partnership, opening up new opportunities for interaction in various spheres.
