Uzbekistan in the world medical ranking
Uzbekistan
The American journal Ceoworld Magazine published a new healthcare ranking, which included 110 countries worldwide. Uzbekistan took 64th place with 36.26 points in the index.
For comparison, Russia ranked 42nd, Azerbaijan 57th, Belarus 61st, and Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan respectively 78th and 95th. Taiwan, South Korea, and Australia led the rankings, while El Salvador, Honduras, and Nepal ended up at the bottom.
When compiling the rating, the level of medical infrastructure, the qualifications of doctors, the cost and accessibility of medical services, and the quality of medicines were taken into account.
The research results show that Uzbekistan surpasses some of its neighbors in the region but lags behind Eastern European countries. Experts note that improving medical infrastructure and enhancing service quality can significantly elevate the country's position in the future.
