Uzbekistan Increases Textile Exports Growth

In 2024, Uzbekistan’s textile exports reached a record $2.9 billion, with supplies spanning 77 countries worldwide. These figures highlight the rapid development of Uzbekistan’s textile industry and its strengthened position in the global market.
According to the Uztextileprom Association, Uzbekistan continues to increase exports of high-tech and finished products. Over the past seven years, the number of countries importing Uzbek goods has risen from 137 to over 200.
An analysis of foreign trade shows that the country’s main partners are concentrated in Asia (50.3% of total exports) and Europe (40.8%). The Americas accounted for 2.8%, Africa for 0.2%, and Australia and Oceania for 0.02%.
The export growth has been made possible through the adoption of advanced technologies, improvements in product quality, and active diversification of trade relations. Uzbekistan is steadily expanding its international presence, emphasizing the development of its textile industry as one of the strategic sectors of its economy.
