Uzbekistan Partners with Amazon Kuiper to Boost Satellite Internet Access

As part of the American Chambers forum, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies and Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services LLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop high-speed satellite internet and enhance the nation’s digital infrastructure.
During the meeting, Minister Sherzod Shermatov and representatives of Amazon Kuiper discussed cooperation in expanding broadband access and improving telecommunication networks across the country.
Project Kuiper, Amazon’s satellite network initiative, aims to deliver high-speed internet globally using low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. The partnership is expected to expand digital opportunities in Uzbekistan and improve connectivity in remote areas.
