Uzbekistan Sees Growing Interest in International Investments

On September 24, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, met with the President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), Bagdat Amreev. The meeting focused on expanding international investment cooperation and fostering economic growth.

Both sides welcomed the upcoming 9th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in Samarkand, highlighting the increasing interest from foreign investors, especially from OTS countries, due to Uzbekistan's ongoing economic reforms.
They discussed new investment projects in energy, transport, and infrastructure, as well as initiatives to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to enhance cooperation and accelerate joint efforts to implement key projects in Uzbekistan’s priority economic sectors with active participation from TIF.
