In its latest session, the Senate of Uzbekistan approved a law increasing administrative liability for individuals providing medical services in traditional medicine without proper authorization. This law is aimed at protecting citizens' health and preventing the risks posed by fraudulent practitioners.

Uzbekistan Strengthens Liability for Illegal Medical Practices
The amendments to Uzbekistan’s legislation clarify that only those with specific permits are allowed to offer medical services in traditional medicine. Unauthorized individuals providing treatment will now face administrative penalties. This change is meant to protect the population from potential harm caused by unlicensed healers.

Additionally, the law prohibits individuals from gaining material benefit or using unapproved methods in providing traditional medicine services. Public advertising of such services is also strictly forbidden. These measures aim to shield citizens from the dangers posed by illegal practitioners.

The “Advertising Law” was also amended to prohibit the promotion of unauthorized medical services. This has become a crucial step in combating the spread of unregulated medical practices.

After discussion, the law was approved by the senators and will now take effect, ensuring greater protection for citizens against illegal medical activities.
