Uzbekistan to allocate $1.5 million for Gaza Strip residents

Uzbekistan will allocate $1 million 500 thousand dollars to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East to provide feasible assistance to the residents of the Gaza Strip. This was announced by Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a regular video conference call.
"As you know, armed clashes between the Israeli army and Hamas movement aggravate the humanitarian crisis, lead to numerous casualties among peaceful, innocent population.
I have decided to allocate 1 million 500 thousand dollars to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East to provide feasible assistance to the residents of the Gaza Strip," President Mirziyoyev said.
He also expressed condolences to the families of the victims from the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
