A new agreement on the effective management of water resources has been reached between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. By October 1, 2025, Uzbekistan has committed to sending 16 billion cubic meters of water to Kazakhstan. This decision was made based on an agreement reached between the heads of the water management authorities of the two countries, as reported by UzA.
