In the morning of November 30, a fire broke out in a hostel in Almaty (Kazakhstan), killing 13 people. This is reported by Tengrinews.
Reportedly, there were 72 people in the hostel, 59 of whom managed to evacuate.
The message notes that firefighters promptly arrived on the scene. While extinguishing the fire, they found 13 dead, who may have died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
It is reported that among the dead there are Uzbeks.
"Four of the 13 dead are foreigners. Russian citizens - two people, and two more citizens of Uzbekistan, as well as nine citizens of Kazakhstan. A forensic medical examination has been appointed," the Almaty Police Department said in a statement.
