The Agency for External Labour Migration of Uzbekistan has urged Uzbek citizens staying in Kazakhstan and travelling along the transit route to be careful due to low temperatures.

It is reported that in recent days in the territory of Kazakhstan, as a result of a sharp cold snap, there are a number of inconveniences associated with travelling on the roads.

Moreover, a number of republican-level motorways have been closed for cars for safety reasons.

"We ask the citizens of Uzbekistan, who are in this state, to strictly observe all safety rules when travelling on the roads, use safe vehicles, do not travel on long-distance roads unnecessarily," the agency said.
