The First Lady of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Zamin Foundation Trustees Board, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, concluded a productive visit to the Khorezm region. The itinerary covered key areas of the foundation's activities: from implementing advanced inclusive education methods to executing ambitious environmental projects that united youth from across the country under a common theme of creation.

The visit began in Urgench with a tour of specialized boarding school No. 96 for children with hearing disabilities. Guests observed students' achievements in robotics and manual crafts. At the Zamin Education classroom, a system for preparing graduates for university admission was presented, confirming the effectiveness of the inclusive approach. Simultaneously, at the Urgench Youth Creative Center, the regional platform of the International Inclusive Hub was introduced—a project aimed at scaling professional education methods for people with special needs.

The environmental agenda took center stage during the events in Khiva. A solemn ceremony was held here to raise the Green Flag of the Eco-schools Uzbekistan project. Following an audit by the Zamin Foundation, 30 top schools in the country received international recognition for their contribution to environmental education. Congratulating the young eco-activists, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva noted: "You are the true defenders of nature, and your efforts bring us closer to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals." A vital part of the celebration included FAO masterclasses on healthy nutrition, the methodologies of which will serve as the foundation for nationwide training programs in schools.

As a practical contribution to the region's environmental health, a new public park was inaugurated in Khiva. On an 8-hectare territory, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, together with local residents and schoolchildren, planted the first of 3,000 saplings specifically selected for the region's climate.

The culmination of the visit was the inclusive festival "Bahor bilan hamnafas" (In Step with Spring). The unique heritage of Khorezm inspired students from Zamin Creative studios across five regions of the country. Designers presented a fashion show inspired by the poetry of Hamid Alimjan, photographers opened the conceptual exhibition "Ibtido," and actors performed a synthesis of national dance and modern choreography. The visit to Khorezm reaffirmed that creating a barrier-free environment and caring for the environment are the cornerstones of Uzbekistan's sustainable future.
