A New Point of Cooperation: Talks in Avaza

During her visit to Avaza, Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Oguljahan Atabaeva, Vice President of the Charitable Foundation for Supporting Children in Need of Care. She warmly congratulated the Turkmen side on the 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality and discussed the development of humanitarian cooperation, social initiatives, and efforts to protect children.
The sides highlighted the productive outcomes of recent talks between the presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, including the opening of the “Shavat–Dashoguz” border trade zone. Mirziyoyeva also viewed the Foundation’s exhibition and medical cluster projects, confirming readiness to deepen cooperation.
In Avaza, she also held a meeting with Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. It was noted that thanks to the political will of the leaders of both countries, Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan relations have reached an unprecedented level. The discussions focused on new prospects for joint humanitarian initiatives and expanding collaboration.
