Foreign investment inflow into the Uzbek economy increased 1.6 times, reaching $34.8 billion in 2024. Hundreds of large and small projects are being implemented in the country, and exports are expanding with new markets and goods.

According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, in 2024, the volume of foreign investments in Uzbekistan increased by 1.6 times, reaching $34.8 billion. Of these, more than $100 million each was utilized in 50 regions of the country.

In 2025, $42.1 billion in foreign investment is planned to be attracted, including $36.8 billion in direct foreign investments. In January of this year alone, their volume already amounted to $3 billion.

Furthermore, in 2024, Uzbekistan's exports increased by 16% and reached $19.3 billion. More than 3,000 new enterprises entered export markets, and the list of goods expanded by 58 new items, which are supplied to 55 countries.

Within the framework of the Investment Program for 2025, it is planned to launch 301 large and 8,000 small and medium-sized projects with a total value of $35.4 billion. This will create more than 294,000 new jobs.

At the meeting of the committees of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the deputies noted the positive dynamics in attracting investments and developing exports, and also proposed measures to further improve the investment climate and support export-oriented enterprises.
