Transactions for the sale of the head office of Aloqabank and the building of the Ministry of Digital Technologies in the center of Tashkent have been canceled. The day before the auction, Aloqabank allocated a loan to the buyer company for 390 billion sums at a rate of 14 percent for 15 years. This accounted for 20.4 percent of the bank's assets.
Together with the transactions, the loan issued to the company was also canceled. This was announced by the head of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Mamarizo Nurmuratov.
Earlier, the building of the head office of Aloqabank was sold for 317.1 billion sums to the Black Gold Industry News company, established in early 2022. The authorized capital of the company was 8 million sums, and the main activity was the mining industry.
Nine seconds after the completion of the first transaction, the company got the second auction — the building of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, located in the same building with the head office of Aloqabank. The amount of the second transaction was 69.85 billion sums.
