Apple is going against Trump's decree

Despite pressure from the new US President Donald Trump, Apple is not planning to abandon Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) programs.

Apple is going against Trump's decree
Following Trump's inauguration on January 20th, he signed a decree aimed at restricting DEI in government institutions and among federal contractors. This led some corporations, including Google, to discontinue such initiatives. However, Apple continues to uphold the principles of diversity, claiming they played a key role in achieving a record market value of $3.7 trillion.

"We believe our actions are as important to Apple's success as creating the world's best products," the company stated.

DEI programs are aimed at creating more equitable conditions for traditionally marginalized groups, including African Americans, women, and people with disabilities. At the same time, critics of these initiatives, including Trump and his supporters, claim that they discriminate against white men.

It is not yet clear whether Apple's approach will change under the pressure of the new administration, but the company firmly states that it does not intend to follow the example of Google and other tech giants who have abandoned the policy of inclusivity.
