Amidst fierce competition from foreign masters, a rider from Samarkand displayed exquisite technique, leaving no chance for his rivals and securing the tournament's top prize.
The capital of Uzbekistan hosted large-scale international show jumping competitions, bringing together the strongest riders from the country and abroad. The highlight of the tournament was the competition for the Cup of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Ashrafkhon Negmatov, representing the Samarkand Regional Equestrian School of the National Guard, emerged as the winner of this prestigious stage. Riding his horse named "Orange-White," the athlete navigated a highly complex technical course flawlessly, without a single error.
In recognition of this outstanding result, Bakhromjon Gaziev, Chairman of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports, ceremoniously presented the champion with the keys to a Chevrolet Nexia-3 car. Negmatov's success was the result of rigorous training under the guidance of Akmal Doniyorov. It is noteworthy that the Samarkand equestrian school almost completely swept the podium: the honorable second place went to Dilshod Mamadaliev, who was also awarded valuable prizes. The tournament once again confirmed Uzbekistan's growing prestige as a center for equestrian sports capable of hosting world-class events.
