Russia and Uzbekistan continue to expand joint initiatives in industrial development and technological cooperation.

According to Russia’s Trade Representative in Uzbekistan, Konstantin Zlygostev, bilateral cooperation is showing steady growth. He noted that the technoparks “Chirchik” and “Jizzakh” are already operational, while two more — in Navoi and Bukhara — are being prepared for launch.

“Next week we expect a visit from a delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, during which the first stone will be laid for the construction of a technopark in the Bekabad district of Tashkent region. This is not just investment — it is new jobs, new technologies, and export potential,” Zlygostev said.

The new technopark will further strengthen Uzbekistan’s industrial infrastructure and enhance cooperation with Russian regions.
