Belarus–Uzbekistan Friendship Alley Opens in Minsk

A new symbol of friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus has been created as part of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s official visit. A ceremony was held on Tashkent Street to inaugurate the Belarus–Uzbekistan Friendship Alley.

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov attended the event. The two foreign ministers jointly planted tree saplings as a symbol of lasting friendship, mutual respect and trust between the two countries.

According to Bakhtiyor Saidov, the new alley represents the strategic partnership and strong ties uniting the peoples of Uzbekistan and Belarus.

The Friendship Alley is expected to become another significant symbol of steadily strengthening bilateral relations, sincere mutual understanding and expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
