About 20 prestigious global brands such as Mango, Massimo Dutti, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Oysho, Stradivarius, Oxho, Ecco, Next, Gerry Weber, Swarovski, Adidas, Chanel and Zara have reportedly opened their shops in Tashkent City Mall.

Moreover, with more than 30 international brands, including LC Waikiki, Cotton, Defacto, Colin's, Terranova, Baldessarini, The North Face, Engelbert Strauss GmbH & Co. KG, Pierre Cardin, including German, Italian, Turkish, American, French and Chinese brands, joint co-operation projects were launched in Fergana, Namangan, Bukhara and Samarkand regions.

"The arrival of branded products in our country will stimulate local producers to further develop and produce the best quality products, as competition in the domestic market will increase," says Zainiddin Ruziyev, head of Zamin Turon Tekstil.

According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, contacts with brands were established through active participation in international exhibitions and organisation of business missions. In 2023, more than 400 enterprises participated in 16 major international exhibitions, business missions to five countries were organised and contacts with prestigious brands were established. A system of phased introduction of Uzbek products into the global supply chains of international brands and retailers has been introduced. In particular, at the first stage, it became possible to import branded goods at reduced customs rates at the Tashkent City Mall.

Enterprises in Andijan, Namangan, Bukhara, Samarkand and Fergana regions have exported $900 million worth of goods ordered by 27 brands from Europe, Türkiye and the United States.

As a result of reforms aimed at developing the industry, the industry's annual export performance is expected to reach $7.0 billion by the end of 2026.
