British Deputy Foreign Secretary arrives in Uzbekistan today

Uzbek Ambassador to London Ravshan Usmanov has held a meeting with British Deputy Foreign Secretary Leo Docherty. This is reported by Dunyo news agency.
The current state and prospects for further development of Uzbek-British cooperation, as well as substantive and organisational aspects of Leo Docherty's forthcoming visit to Uzbekistan on 10-11 January were discussed during the meeting.
It is noted that special attention was paid to the intensification of political dialogue at high and highest levels, expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation, diversification of interaction in trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian cooperation, particularly in the field of education.
