Turkestan Autonomy is the first democratic government established in the Turkestan region on November 27, 1917. It was founded on the extraordinary IV Congress of Muslims of all Turkestan held in Kokand.

The February Revolution of 1917 changed the outlook of the advanced intelligentzia. They, including Chulpan, realized that the struggle for independence has now moved from the period of propaganda to the stage of practical activity. Chulpan takes an active part in the creation of the Turkestan Autonomous Government.

The autonomy of Turkestan, founded by the intelligentzia of the nation, lasted only 72 days. Its founders and supporters were repressed.

The campaign launched against the Jadids does not bypass Chulpan either. He was arrested on July 14, 1937 and shot on October 4, 1938 on the Bozsuv River in Tashkent.

For reference: "Al Sancak" is a series about 10 talented soldiers and their struggle to defend the motherland.
