According to ubaydullayev, Uzbekistan is also negotiating with Tatneft, which has three gas stations, to expand its activities in the country.
"We are constantly working with our Russian partners. For example, an agreement was reached with Gazprom neft on the supply of 300 thousand tons of oil to the country in 2023,” the ministry official said.

He also added that more than 30% of oil and gas companies in Uzbekistan are created with the participation of Russian capital.

For reference, the Bukhara oil refinery was commissioned in August 1997. A consortium of European companies Technip was responsible for its design and construction. The enterprise produces aviation and automotive fuel, sulfur, fuel oil and other products.
