Blacksmithing is developing in such neighbourhoods of Uichi district as Kumtepa, Dekhkon, Balandarik and Jiydakapa.

In 2021, an industrial zone specialising in blacksmithing was created here, with the necessary conditions for craftsmen and artisans working from home. The three-hectare complex has all the necessary infrastructure, including roads, power supply, drinking water supply and sewerage.

In the first phase, 52 projects have been implemented here and more than 1,500 jobs have been created.

A further 45 projects are planned for the second phase, covering an area of two hectares. As a result, another 1,330 new jobs will be created.

"It is necessary to establish a new system here, to help the unemployed derive income from a homestead plot, to open their own business, to realise their abilities," the President said.

The head of state also visited the centre of Kumtepa neighbourhood and got acquainted with the conditions created for the population.

The neighbourhood has improved this year. A new building has been built for the citizens' meeting. All houses have been connected to water supply. Internal roads and electricity networks have been repaired. Fruit and ornamental trees were planted along the roads as part of the Yashil Makon programme.

An Entrepreneurs Support Centre has also been established in the new building of the neighbourhood. Here the population and entrepreneurs can use some state services. The President approved this, emphasising the need to resolve issues related to government agencies, if possible, in the neighbourhoods themselves.
