Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may soon meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss the Ukrainian conflict.
This was reported by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, citing information from the Turkish TV channel TRT World. According to Rama, the Turkish president received an invitation to the meeting during his visit to Ankara from the head of the Albanian government. Erdogan expressed his readiness to accept the invitation and hold a high-level meeting with President Zelensky on the sidelines of the Southeast European Summit.
In January, during a telephone conversation between Erdogan and Zelensky, the Turkish leader said that Ankara was ready to mediate and hold peace talks with Russia to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
