Recall that the EU adopted the 14th package of sanctions against Russia. As announced by the EU Council, the restrictions include the transit of Russian LNG through European ports. However, the document notes, the West will continue to buy Russian liquefied gas. In addition, sanctions were imposed against 116 individuals and legal entities of Russia.
