Fergana Oil Refinery to double production of AI-80 and AI-92 petrol

Starting from December 11, Fergana Oil Refinery will increase the total production of AI-80 and AI-92 gasoline up to 1000 tonnes per day.
According to Saneg's press service, the increase in gasoline production is the result of new technological solutions within the framework of the modernisation being implemented at the refinery, which ensures a stable supply in the fuel market and allows the refinery to effectively meet consumer demand in the winter season.
"This strategic decision was made in response to the ever-increasing demand for fuel in the winter season, a period when car engines require high-quality and frost-resistant fuel. The increase in petrol production will ensure a stable supply in the fuel market, which will allow the refinery to effectively meet consumer demand in the winter season," the statement said.
Habib Latipov, Saneg's Deputy General Director for Oil Refining, emphasised that the increase in petrol production is the result of new technological solutions within the framework of modernisation being carried out at the refinery aimed at providing the population with affordable fuel.
"This strategic decision was made in response to the ever-increasing demand for fuel in the winter season, a period when car engines require high-quality and frost-resistant fuel. The increase in petrol production will ensure a stable supply in the fuel market, which will allow the refinery to effectively meet consumer demand in the winter season," the statement said.
