The official FIFA website has recognized Abbosbek Fayzullayev, a player for the Uzbekistan national team and CSKA, among six young stars showcasing brilliant performances in the qualification stages for the 2026 World Cup.
"After being named 'AFC Young Player of the Year,' Fayzullayev continued to elevate his career by delivering another impressive performance for Uzbekistan against North Korea."
"Despite his short stature, he possesses remarkable technical abilities. Playing for the Moscow team, he was the sole goal scorer in the match against Ventyand, where his long-range goal contributed to the 'White Wolves' continuing their historic journey to qualify for the World Cup," the report states.
It’s worth noting that the 21-year-old Fayzullayev scored a total of three goals in the last two matches against Qatar and North Korea.
