From B2B Talks in New Delhi to an Export Project in Jizzakh
On August 19, Bobir Yakhyayev, Director of BMB HOLDING’s Department of Foreign Economic Relations, met with Sunil Karar, founder of Bhavesh Trading Company. The Indian company has operated in agricultural trade since 1965, specialising in the import and export of fresh fruits, vegetables and spices. According to company information, its trading network covers more than 18 countries across four continents.

The meeting followed the Uzbekistan-India Business Forum and B2B talks held in New Delhi on August 3–4. In Tashkent, the parties discussed detailed requirements for garlic quality and volumes, as well as packaging, storage and logistics.

The next stage will be a visit by the Indian partner to BMB HOLDING’s production facilities in the Jizzakh Region. The visit is expected to provide an opportunity to review cultivation, storage and processing operations, assess product quality on site and determine potential supply volumes.

The project is developing against the backdrop of expanding trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and India. According to the information provided, bilateral trade increased by 30% in 2025, exceeding $1.3 billion. The target for 2026 is to raise this figure to $2 billion. Around 400 enterprises with Indian capital are currently operating in Uzbekistan, while the portfolio of joint projects exceeds $5 billion.

Following the Jizzakh visit, the parties plan to determine supply volumes and schedules, as well as the commercial terms of cooperation.
