A video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held to discuss the work carried out in 2024 and the plans for 2025 under the mortgage program. During the meeting, it was emphasized that a completely new system for constructing the "New Uzbekistan" housing complexes will be implemented.
From now on, the design phase for land allocated to the "New Uzbekistan" complexes must not exceed two months, and construction must commence within three months. If this requirement is violated, the land will be reclaimed and re-auctioned.
Organizations that delay project expertise by more than 15 days will have their licenses suspended.
The "escrow" system is being introduced in construction. This system will enable developers to attract funds at lower rates. Most importantly, developer financing will begin alongside the construction process and continue throughout.
Citizens will be able to access mortgages and subsidies from the start of construction, as well as sell their housing to others even before its completion. This ensures that homebuyers are guaranteed protection.
